Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and professional Delivery Driver with exceptional customer service skills to transport floriculture products. The driver will operate a route that includes two pickups: the first in Columbia, SC, at 6:00 a.m., followed by a second pickup in Greenville, SC. This position is for one day each week, totaling 39 weeks, every Wednesday from March to November 2026. The average workday length will be 9 hours/week. Attendance each Wednesday of the 39 weeks, as well as punctuality, is mandatory.
The role involves efficiently and safely transporting flowers and related items, ensuring timely deliveries while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, route driving, and handling heavy loads, as well as familiarity with box trucks and manual transmissions.

Responsibilities
Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle to deliver floriculture products along designated routes in Columbia and Greenville.
Load and unload merchandise using manual handling techniques, ensuring proper handling of delicate floral items.
Ensure accurate delivery by following route plans and verifying orders against delivery manifests.
Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries, addressing inquiries, and ensuring satisfaction.
Pick up used company buckets from businesses at every drop-off location.
Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle, performing routine inspections and reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during route driving.
Assist with warehouse duties following each trip, including inventory management as well as bucket sanitation procedures required following every shift.
Experience
A Clean Motor Vehicle Report from DMV must be submitted before hire.
Must be 25 years of age or older (insurance requirement)
Delivery driver experience preferred, especially with courier or route driving roles involving floral or perishable goods.
Experience operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks with manual transmissions is highly desirable.
Familiarity with warehouse equipment, like forklifts and pallet jacks, is a plus.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone.
Ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly and perform physical tasks such as moving flowers or equipment safely.
Valid driver’s license suitable for driver roles; clean driving record required.
Previous experience in floral delivery or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates. This position is integral to ensuring our clients receive fresh floriculture products promptly and professionally, contributing to the overall success of our operations in Greenville.
